Abstract: The collective experience of a management classroom has a huge potential for learning and development, which may not be necessarily harnessed by the dominant pedagogical method of problem-based learning. Experience-based learning allows the individual to not only focus on the problem at hand but also facilitates interaction with the self and the world and requires dialogue for expression and for the creation of shared meanings. The dialogic approach, a tool for experience-based learning, incorporates reflective, appreciative, and generative dialogue. The paper proposes a framework for operationalizing and delivering the dialogic approach in a management classroom to attain the objectives of self-awareness based development and realization of student potential.
