Abstract: In this paper, authors argue that the innovation and human resource management are intrinsically related. Several scholars have pointed out that lack of sufficient skills combined with undifferentiated business-model impact technology innovation in Indian ITES firms. This paper uses the lens of Ansoff’s matrix to classify different types of innovations at an ITES firm. This study is an attempt to identify strategies for managing human resources with an objective to fuel innovation lead growth in these firms. Many researchers have done the study around the relationship between innovation and human resource management (HRM). They have attempted to identify whether the firm’s environment helps to create innovative HRM practice or it is other way round.
