The chapter presents the framework called the analytic processes maturity model (APMM) for assessing the analytic maturity of an organisation. The APMM identifies analytic-related systems in six key process areas: (i) building analytic models; (ii) installing analytic models; (iii) managing and utilizing analytic infrastructure; (iv) safeguarding analytic assets through appropriate policies and procedures; (v) utilizing and analytic governance structure; and (vi) recognizing analytic opportunities helping in making decisions, and allotting resources based on an analytic strategy. Based on the maturity of these process, APMM segments organizations into five maturity levels: (1) organizations that can develop reports; (2) organizations that can augment and install models; (3) organizations that have repeatable systems for building and installing analytics; (4) organizations that have steady enterprise-wide processes for analytics; and (5) organizations whose analytics is strategy driven. The model is used for measuring the maturity of processes is an organization.en_US
