While we will see how different analytical tools can be applied in different scenarios, the aim of this chapter is not to teach statistics per se.Through multiple examples specific to manpower planning & staffing, the hope is to provide a flavour of how analytics can aid decisions in this area. Most illustrations are intended to be practical in nature. This means that the techniques described will cater to both to organizations which have just started with their descriptive analytics journey, as well as those aiming to move ahead to predictive analytics. en_US
