This paper examines the role of perceived organizational support (POS) and self-efficacy in the relationship between perceived worklife benefits and policies (WLBPs) and workplace employee well-being. It is hypothesized that WLBPs will be positively related to employee well-being and POS, and self-efficacy will mediate the relationship between POS and employee well-being. Data was collected from 129 managerial employees from various private organizations in India through a structured questionnaire. Analysis was done using multiple regressions.Perceived WLBPs were not significantly related to employee well-being directly, but there was significant indirect effect of WLBPs on employee well-being through POS. Self-efficacy partially mediated the relationship between POS and employee well-being. |
